Above: Mamas, don’t let your babies grow up to be Stephen Baldwin. Seriously. He’s crazy. 

Sarah Palin appeared on Saturday Night Live last weekend alongside Alec Baldwin. Alec, like most of his family, is a staunch Democrat. Which prompted Palin to joke that Stephen- the born again Christian, Republican brother- was her favorite Baldwin. 

That pleased the Bio-Dome actor: 

Says the Christian conservative celeb: “I thought she was hilarious, a good sport. I think [John]McCain was brilliant in choosing Sarah Palin because now SNL’s ratings this past Saturday were highest in 14 years.” He adds, “You could bet your backside that Lorne Michaels is going to accept her invitation. … She’s already said [she’d] be glad to do it again.”

As for who he thought was funnier on SNL – Palin or his own brother Alec Baldwin? “Come on, what do you expect me to say? … Sarah Palin, no question.”

Stephen Baldwin became an outspoken Christian after 9/11. And by “outspoken” I mean he literally won’t shut up about it. One of my favorite celebrity interviews of all time is one Radar did with Baby Baldwin where it was revealed that he couldn’t name either the 7 Deadly Sins or the 10 Commandments: 

So can you name the seven deadly sins? 
Dude, I’m totally clueless.

Lust, greed, sloth, gluttony, wrath, envy, pride.
Although wrath in the Bible isn’t a sin.

Not in the hands of God, but it is in the hands of a mortal.
Hey, you’re pretty hip to this whole deal. Are you like some Jesus freak?
